'MY LITTLE FOOL' (Rich 2011) TET, 32” tall, Dormant, 6 ½” bloom, mid/late, EMO, Ext, Sculpted
3 way branching, 15+ buds, (One Last Dance X Proof Positive)
Petals of soft coral-rose blend into a unique light peach watermark. Gentle ruffles, edged light peach to cream, wide blunt sepals
and a small green throat all combine revealing her feminine charm. Sculpted petals show a slightly rebellious side, softly or tightly
pleating, depending on her mood. A hardy dormant with deep green foliage and sturdy scapes.
Much admired by garden visitors and my personal favorite. Fertile both ways.
“I must learn to love the fool in me - the one who feels too much, talks too much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and
loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt, promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries. It
alone protects me against that utterly self-controlled, masterful tyrant whom I also harbor and who would rob me of my human
aliveness, humility and dignity but for my fool.” Theodore I. Ruben.
